Awards Show Wrap-Up: Ain't No Party Like a Maker Party

My heart is full. Our third annual awards show was such an amazing culmination of celebration for handmade businesses. What moves me so much is not the grandness of the event or perfect details but how much people enjoy connecting with each other and how much they feel celebrated-- and celebrate others. It is the generosity of spirit that defines this event from start to finish.

Everyone who attended got a swag bag filled with amazing goodies. You can see some of them in the photo below!

This year we did something a little bit different too. We held a raffle with only donations from #ahasmembers and finalists. The raffle benefitted the work of the Downtown Women's Center here in Los Angeles. They help homeless women become handmade entrepreneurs through their Made by DWC program. I am happy to announce that we raised $247 for them!

Thank You Sponsors!

This year's sponsors were incredible-- everyone of them supportive and generous as much as any one else involved in this event. And I was so thrilled that many of them were also able to join us at the show.

PRESENTING SPONSOR

Our generous presenting sponsor is also helping us with printing and prizes for the winners. Thank you!

CREATIVE BUSINESS CIRCLE

These sponsors are very special to AHAS. They are businesses that have been supportive of us year-round and the least we could do is highlight them. They are donors of services and goods for the winners and help make discount tickets for our finalists possible.

GENEROUS PARTNERS

These folks have also been incredible supporters of the awards show. We could not ask for better partners.
