Episode 52: Selling Is Service

There’s a super cheesy YouTube video that makes the rounds every few years from a retail shop in Alaska that made a video of its employees about how to be a good salesperson. The whole principle is that Selling is Service, and Service is Selling. The video is complete with really terrible dancing, bad rhymes, cheesy scenarios, horrible attempts at singing, and more.

But at its core, they actually have a good message, so Sharon and I wanted to dive a little deeper into why selling is all about service, and how we can apply that to maker business. This may be especially helpful for the more introverted or sales-averse makers out there. If you’d like to check out the glorious video for yourself, check out the episode notes below.

Selling is Service! (And Service is Selling.)
